It was a Wonderful Evening!

On April 26th, several hundred supporters of DuPage Children's Museum attended the Back to the Future Ball.   The Oak Brook Hills Marriot Resort was transformed and guests were transported back in time to the 1955 Hill Valley High School “Enchantment under the Sea” dance.  It was an amazing evening that combined a lot of fun with the ability to contribute to the place where learning comes in to play™.

Over $250,000 was raised in support of DuPage Children’s Museum, demonstrating a strong investment in the development of learning in young children.  Attendees included a broad representation of leaders from both government and business, lending their support to what Naperville Mayor George Pradel recognized as “a gem of our community.”

After cocktails, featuring blue oceantinis, guests enjoyed a duet of filet mignon and French grilled salmon followed by dessert that was specially arranged by the ball’s Honorary Chairperson, Brenda C. Barnes, Chairman and CEO of Sara Lee Corporation – a generous slice of Sara Lee Restaurant Reserve Hi-Rise New York Style Cheesecake. 

After dinner, fantastic auction items intensified the excitement of the paddle-raise, and the enticing music of R-Gang lured dancers to their feet in the perfect finish to a magical evening.
